Red Cedar Basketball League 2024 Season
Red Cedar Basketball is a league for 5th – 8th grade girls and boys that compete with teams from surrounding communities. East Lansing holds competitive tryouts to determine teams. While we try to field as many teams as possible, not all tryout attendees will be chosen to participate in the league.

Tentative Season schedule
Practice will begin sometime between the tryout and the first game at the discretion of the coach.
7th & 8th Grade Girls
The first game is November 2nd through the postseason tournament Mid-December.
4th, 5th, & 6th Grade Girls and Boys
The first game is December 7th through the postseason tournament in late February. 3 week break for the holidays from Mid-December to Early January.
7th & 8th Grade Boys
The first game is January 12th through the postseason tournament in late. February.
Cost
There is a $1,850 team fee that will be divided by the total number of players. Typically, teams have around 10 players so the approximate cost per player is $185.
